Playa Kalki

Playa Kalki Pelican VillaPlaya Kalki (chalk) is known for its beautiful limestone cliffs. The beach lays hidden in a narrow bay near Westpunt village and can only be reached by stone steps. Playa Kalki is very popular with lovers of diving and snorkeling. The seaside landscape and trees offer a nice and relaxed atmosphere. On the terrace of the higher situated resort ‘Kura Hulanda Lodges’ you can taste a perfect meal while enjoying the stunning view at the Caribbean Sea. There’s also a diving school.


A nice fishermen’s village on the most western point of the island. Founded in 1860 by freed slaves. You will notice the holiday houses of people from Willemstad, who like to spend their weekends in the unspoiled nature and the quietness of the area. The village is located at Westpunt Bay and Westpunt Beach, a pebble beach also used as a harbour by local fishermen. In front of the coast you can discover the diving paradise ‘Sweet Alice’.

Playa Forti

This beach is adjacent to Westpunt Bay. It’s mainly known by thrill-seekers who like to dive from a 15 metres high rock. You like to try it? Then drive in the direction of Wespunt village and stop at the symphatic restaurant Playa Forti, built on the ruins of an English fortress. From here you’ll be offered a sublime view over the western part of the island.
